Role Overview

The Chief Supply Chain Officer will be a critical partner in driving transformational strategy, optimizing our national network, elevating operational excellence, and enabling growth and customer service improvements across the business. This leader will oversee warehouse operations, transportation and logistics, supply chain planning and analytics, corporate safety, real estate/network optimization, and the strategic evolution of TriMark's distribution footprint. The role requires a highly strategic, hands-on operator who thrives in fast-paced, transformative environments and excels at leading teams through change. 

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership


• Co-develop and execute an integrated national supply chain strategy aligned with business and financial objectives.


• Optimize distribution center and warehouse network design across all regions.


• Implement industry-leading practices to improve service levels, efficiency, and scalability.

Warehouse Operations


• Lead strategic and operational improvements across all warehouse locations.


• Establish and manage KPI reporting for productivity, accuracy, fulfillment speed, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.


• Strengthen SOPs, labor models, and capacity planning to reduce cost, improve efficiency and keep service at industry-best levels.


• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

Transportation & Logistics


• Oversee all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment.


• Partner with internal finance and external experts to optimize freight, routing, and transportation cost structures.


• Support Sales, Corporate Accounts, and Category Management through a customer

centric, service-oriented operating model.

Real Estate & Network Optimization


• Oversee and optimize TriMark's national real estate portfolio and evaluate site performance.


• Lead site selection and recommendations for new facilities based on TriMark's market demands and strategic growth plans.


• Partner with the CFO and General Counsel to negotiate favorable property, lease, and acquisition terms.

Business Operating Systems 


• Partner closely with IT, Finance, and Regional EVPs to optimize ERP performance and ensure alignment with operational needs.


• Identify improvements and pragmatic solutions to enhance system utilization.

Qualifications


• 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience; multi-site, multi-region distribution experience required.


• Experience leading supply chain operations across a network of 5+ warehouses and $500M+ revenue environment.


• Demonstrated success driving warehouse optimization, logistics improvement, and network efficiency.


• Experience with ERP implementation or modernization strongly preferred.


• Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen; able to turn data into actionable insights.


• Highly organized with exceptional communication, presentation, and executive reporting skills (PowerPoint/Excel).


• Proven ability to hire, develop, and lead high-performing teams across complex, matrixed environments.


• Demonstrated ability to lead through change with urgency, accountability, and a servant leadership mindset.


• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.
 

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc.  Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
