Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to a welcoming shopping environment.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Provide product demonstrations and information to enhance customer experience.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures regarding sales and customer service.

Skills

  • Proven experience in retail sales or customer service.
  • Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
  • Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
  • Ability to effectively communicate product information and promotions to customers.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and addressing customer needs.
  • Experience with product demos is an advantage.
