Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to uphold our high standards of hygiene and service.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and equipment to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas as needed to support restaurant operations.
  • Collaborate with cooks and kitchen staff to maintain an efficient working environment.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Support catering events by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members in the culinary department.
  • A willingness to learn about culinary practices and assist in various kitchen tasks as needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
