Job Summary:

The Dishwasher is responsible for clean plateware and cookware as well as the clean and orderly appearance of work and food storage areas throughout the kitchen. Responsibilities to include trash/refuse removal, sweeping, and mopping of common areas. The dishwasher performs their duties with the use of an industrial dishwashing machine, 3 compartment sink, abrasive sponges, broom, mop, and cleaning chemicals.

Shifts Availabilities are based on operation hours of 6am-11pm. Shift availabilities include the following:

• Mid Day Shift: 10:00AM - 6:30PM (or 12:00PM - 8:30PM)
• PM Closing Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have the ability to work and communicate well with others, work both independently and in a team, follow directions, as well as maintain a positive attitude toward the work and company.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to withstand hot/humid environments for an extended period.
• Capable of lifting up to 40lbs.
• Follow directions and/or ask supervisor for clarification when unclear.
• Must possess a recent TB Clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Wash, rinse, clean and sanitize cookware and equipment
• Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary
• Unload dishes, silverware and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
• Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises, including emptying trash cans, cleaning drink machines, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning any spills and broken glass immediately
• Keep the production and storage areas neat, clean and organized
• Observe and enforce company standard operating procedures
• Ensure all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
• Report any serious incidents to upper management, such as machine failure or broken facilities
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and colleagues
• Must maintain personal hygiene and have a neat, well-groomed appearance
• Must maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance, observe company dress code, and support the company culture, values, goals and mission.
