Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Medical Case Manager based in Atlanta, GA, with flexibility for partial work-from-home after 90 days. The Medical Case Manager will oversee and coordinate patient care plans, ensuring effective utilization of services and resources. Day-to-day responsibilities include daily telephone calls with healthcare providers and attorneys, to monitoring patient progress.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Medical Case Management, Athena Software experience is a plus.
  • Strong abilities in Case Management and Case Management Services to ensure coordination of care.
  • Knowledge of Utilization Management to optimize resource use and improve patient outcomes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications in case management medical tech and paralegal, or a related field are highly preferred.
  • Experience in neurological patient care or healthcare case management is considered a strong advantage.
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required
