What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points, verifying identification and credentials as required by site protocols.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, local law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed written reports according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the location.
• Operate security-related technology and equipment as required for the post, including surveillance systems and communication devices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
