Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities

  • Implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and fosters early childhood development.
  • Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively to promote positive behavior management and ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and classroom activities.
  • Maintain an organized classroom that reflects the principles of Montessori education and encourages exploration and discovery.
  • Assess student progress through standardized testing methods and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance educational programs and share best practices in childcare.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that supports diversity and encourages all children to thrive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or daycare setting.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles, including behavior management techniques.
  • Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with tutoring methods and educational assessments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention strategies is beneficial.

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
