Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations
  • Oversee property maintenance and facilities management to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality
  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor property conditions and coordinate repairs or upgrades as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC requirements, and other legal standards
  • Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite to track leasing activity, financials, and maintenance requests
  • Handle lease negotiations, contracts, and legal administrative tasks with transparency and professionalism
  • Resolve conflicts efficiently through effective conflict management strategies while maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Facilitate property leasing efforts by upselling amenities or services to prospective tenants
  • Maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) records for seamless operations
  • Foster excellent customer service through phone etiquette, prompt response to inquiries, and personalized tenant engagement

Experience

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law
  • Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and Fair Housing regulations
  • Hands-on experience using Yardi, OneSite or similar property management software
  • Strong background in legal administrative processes related to leasing contracts and property documentation
  • Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, negotiation, and upselling within a customer service context
  • Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, facilities management tools like CMMS or Office Suite applications
  • Excellent phone etiquette combined with customer relationship management skills to foster tenant satisfaction
  • Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management best practices
