Overview

We are looking for an experienced mechanic that can hit the road running. I am expanding my shops and need reliable techs who can self motivate and manage. We work on everything from Semis and farm equipment to your smallest VW. Diesel experience a plus. Willing to be on call 1-2 weeks of the month for road calls. Pay based on experience and availability to be scheduled. Bilingual is a major plus. Background check and Drug test will be done . MUST HAVE OWN BASIC TOOLS.

What you'll do

  • Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced tools, including an ohmmeter, to ensure accurate repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
  • Keep your mobile work environment organized and stocked with necessary tools and equipment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology to enhance your skills.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience as a mechanic or mobile mechanic with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with various automotive systems and components.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
