Job Description
Champion Homes is seeking a
dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager
to lead core financial operations for our corporate team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring strong leadership and analytical skills, and are passionate about driving accuracy and process improvement, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
As Accounting Manager, you'll play a key role in:

  • Overseeing daily operations of the accounting department
  • Leading month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations
  • Driving process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Managing financial reports, forecasts, and annual budgets
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX, internal controls, and government regulations
  • Coordinating with auditors and cross-functional teams (AR, AP, Treasury)
  • Training and managing accounting staff
  • Supporting Oracle close process and reporting implementation
  • Maintaining centralized accounts payable and vendor reconciliation
  • Handling tax resale certificates and unmatched receiving reports

What You Bring

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor's preferred)
  • 4-7 years of accounting leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial close processes
  • Advanced Excel and analytical systems knowledge
  • Experience with payroll, AP, AR, and tax compliance
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and develop teams
  • Ability to travel up to 10% annuall
