This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals who are excited to launch a career in sales. As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for inbound service calls, helping to grow our agency footprint and support our Sales Leader team. You'll learn the fundamentals of sales, build strong relationships with agents, and contribute to the success of our national sales strategy.
What does an Sales Development Representative at GAINSCO do?
- Build strong relationships with agents and identify opportunities to grow their business with GAINSCO.
- Educate agents on our products, underwriting guidelines, and policy procedures.
- Support new and existing agents with onboarding, training, and day-to-day questions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales campaigns and strategies.
- Manage multiple projects and follow up with agents to keep the sales pipeline moving.
- Track and report on sales initiatives and agent engagement.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
What is required?
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- No prior sales experience required—just a strong desire to learn and grow
- Experience in customer service, retail, or B2B sales is a plus.
- Insurance industry knowledge is helpful but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus.

- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Comfortable speaking on the phone and building rapport with others.
- Eagerness to learn sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
