Apply via Dice todayAkkodis is seeking aQA Automationfor aContractwith a client inChicago, IL/Dallas, TX, Richardson, TX/Scottsdale, AZ.The ideal candidate willplan and execute robust QA strategies, including test design and automation scripting, while driving continuous improvement through QA metrics and RCA.Rate Range:$49/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.QA Automation job responsibilities include:Lead QA automation efforts using Playwright and maintain robust BDD Selenium frameworks with TestNG, Maven, and GitHub.Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including automation scripting, regression testing, and defect tracking.Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes.Track and report QA metrics to ensure quality standards and support Agile development practices.Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to align on priorities and deliverables.Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration to streamline testing and deployment workflows.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.4-6 years of hands-on experience in QA automation and test strategy implementation.Strong expertise in Playwright for test automation and proficiency in BDD Selenium frameworks.Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, QA metrics, and defect management processes.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
