Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst cum Project Manager to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, project management, and stakeholder management. This hybrid role is critical in driving business outcomes, gathering and analyzing requirements, and overseeing project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis:

• Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
• Analyze and interpret business needs to identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend effective solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to elicit requirements and clarify project scope.
• Create detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and wireframes.
• Liaise with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments to evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions.

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and business stakeholders, to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to overcome challenges.
• Organize and lead project meetings, status updates, and retrospectives.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication of project artifacts, including charters, status reports, and lessons learned.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by providing timely updates and resolving conflicts effectively.
• Present project updates, requirements, and deliverables to senior management and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or in a related role.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering solutions successfully.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in project management tools like JIRA, MS Project, Trello, or Asana.
• Hands-on experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) and best practices.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting tools, and business process modeling.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Leadership skills to manage teams, drive accountability, and motivate team members.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
