The
Marketing Specialist
plays an important role in supporting Devenish North America's marketing efforts by implementing digital content, creative development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position is responsible for bringing marketing projects and campaigns to life through a combination of creativity and hands-on execution. The individual will work closely with the marketing team to implement the company's commercial marketing goals and enhance overall brand visibility.

Primary Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Implement and maintain content across Devenish - North America website, social media channels, email marketing and other digital content.

Creative Development

  • Conceptualize and design engaging advertising materials across print, digital, social, and outdoor media.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create visual and written content that aligns with brand identity, corporate goals, and campaign objectives.
  • Develop high-quality graphics, layouts, illustrations, and visual assets for various platforms (advertising ads, websites, social media, email campaigns, etc.) while ensuring brand consistency.

Campaign & Event Support

  • Assist with outbound and inbound marketing activities, including content development, advertising, event planning, and executing marketing tactics based on creative briefs.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to develop creative design and layout projects from conception to final output of deliverables.
  • Coordinate with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective communication, while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Brand Management

  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials and external communications and develop written content that aligns with corporate goals and brand identity.

Other Duties

  • Track and analyze digital metrics, website analytics, and email campaign performance; support trade shows and customer events; and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role (2-3 years of experience)
  • Experience with maintaining and updating websites.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn,).
  • Basic understanding of search engine optimization and search engine marketing to drive traffic.
  • Experience creating, managing, and analyzing email campaigns (e.g., Mailchimp, or other email marketing tools).
  • Graphic Design: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Ability to conceptualize and pitch original ideas for advertising materials and creative content.
  • Ability to execute marketing campaigns from start to finish, including content creation, distribution, and performance tracking.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, design, product teams) to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables.
  • Writing and editing skills for creating content that aligns with brand voice, product messaging, and campaign objectives.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, manage deadlines, and keep projects moving.
  • Experience developing content that aligns with corporate goals and messaging and understanding how content can be adapted for various platforms (social media, website, email).
  • Ensuring that all content (whether written or visual) adheres to brand standards and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
