Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Personal Training Director to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of PT Sales, physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics, enabling them to design effective training programs tailored to individual client needs. As a PTD, you will play a crucial role in motivating clients and other trainers to achieve their fitness goals while promoting a healthy lifestyle within our health club environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct personalized fitness assessments and develop tailored workout programs based on individual client goals and fitness levels.
  • Selling personal training packages
  • Provide one-on-one training sessions, ensuring proper exercise techniques and safety protocols are followed.
  • Holding your training staff accountable for their personal and business goals, while providing support.
  • Lead group fitness classes that engage participants and foster a supportive community atmosphere.
  • Educate clients on the principles of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics to enhance their understanding of physical fitness.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust training programs as necessary to ensure continued improvement and motivation.
  • Promote health club services and programs through effective fitness sales strategies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, encouragement, and accountability.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to personal training and exercise science.
  • Strong understanding of body mechanics to ensure safe exercise practices.
  • Proficient in program design tailored to various fitness levels and goals.
  • Experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lead group fitness sessions effectively, creating an engaging atmosphere for participants.
  • Sales skills related to fitness services or health club memberships are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate clients effectively.
