In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the creative, operational, and educational sides of our event division—designing stunning displays for weddings, corporate events, and community installations while also developing scalable systems, SOPs, and franchise training for future expansion.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of design innovation, operational excellence, and business growth.

What You'll Do

Creative Leadership & Event Production

• Design and execute high-impact event lighting, décor, and interiors for corporate functions, weddings, festivals, and private celebrations.
• Lead the full project lifecycle, from concept to completion, ensuring every event meets brand standards and exceeds client expectations.
• Oversee production of shimmer walls, backdrops, custom props, signage, and immersive environments.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, logistics, and on-site operations for large-scale events.
• Leverage our in-house resources (warehouse, showroom, fleet, installers, carpenters, and marketing teams) to deliver seamless, beautiful results.

Systems Development & Franchise Training

• Build and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for event lighting, décor design, rental management, and production workflows.
• Create training materials, videos, and resources that can be used to onboard and educate new franchisees.
• Lead hands-on franchise training sessions—both in-person and virtual—covering design principles, event setup, customer experience, and operational best practices.
• Continuously refine systems based on franchise feedback, performance data, and new innovations in the event space.

Growth, Partnerships & Innovation

• Develop partnerships with venues, event planners, and corporate clients to drive new business.
• Collaborate with the marketing and SEO teams to promote event services and showcase completed projects.
• Stay ahead of trends in event design, lighting technology, and sustainable materials to keep Festive's creative edge sharp.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in event planning, production, or design management, ideally for large-scale or high-end events.
• Strong understanding of lighting design, décor fabrication, and creative direction.
• Experience developing SOPs, training programs, or curriculum for team or franchise use.
• Excellent vendor management, budgeting, and organizational skills.
• Creative problem-solving and the ability to perform under pressure and deadlines.
• Professional communication skills and a leadership style that inspires confidence and collaboration.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or 3D rendering software.
• Based in Sarasota, FL, or willing to relocate.
