Senior Client Relationship Associate, Private Wealth/Trust and Estates, Boston (full time in office)
About the Company:
Our client, a distinguished and independent investment management and strategic advisory firm, is seeking a high-impact Senior Relationship Associate to join their dedicated Private Client Service team. This is a chance to step into a key role where your expertise will be critical in delivering highly customized and comprehensive service and solutions to a sophisticated client base, which includes individuals, families, family offices, endowments, foundations, and institutions.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Relationship Associate, you will serve as a pivotal liaison between high-net-worth clients and a team of expert advisors, including Private Client Relationship Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and Strategic Advisors. This role is about much more than support; it is about proactive engagement, seamless coordination, and ensuring a first-class, integrated service experience.
Core Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
Engage directly with clients to anticipate and proactively address their needs, ensuring all inquiries are met with prompt, accurate, and thorough resolutions. - Onboarding and Account Transition:
Expertly manage all facets of the client lifecycle, including new account opening, custodian selection, documentation, account funding, online access enrollment, and correct implementation of advisory fee structures. - Fiduciary and Planning Coordination:
Serve as the coordination point for complex wealth planning activities, partnering with the Strategic Advisory team on relevant tax, estate planning, and fiduciary matters. - Gift Facilitation:
Coordinate and execute client gifting activities, which includes processing cash and in-kind gifts, and producing required correspondence such as gift letters and Crummey notices. - Team Collaboration and Development:
Cultivate strong internal partnerships across Operations and Client Service teams to facilitate a broad range of investment and trust activities. Take the initiative to mentor and contribute to the development of more junior team members. - Strategic Initiatives:
Contribute to ad-hoc projects and ongoing business improvement efforts that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- A
Bachelor's degree
is required. - 5+ years of relevant experience
in a client-facing role within the financial services industry. - Demonstrated proficiency in building
rapport and fostering trust
not only with clients but also with their outside advisors (attorneys, accountants). - Exceptional
organizational skills, attention to detail
, and a demonstrated ability to execute activities with accuracy and efficiency using systems and processes. - Professional maturity and the utmost discretion for handling
confidential and sensitive client issues
. - Proven ability to
manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities
, and meet demanding client needs. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

self-motivated, collaborative team player
with a strong work ethic.
