**Job Summary:**

Cardiology group practice seeking PART-TIME registered Vascular Technologist to join our imaging team. The Vascular Technologist will be responsible for performing non-invasive vascular diagnostic tests to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disorders.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Candidates should have experience in performing transthoracic echos (optional), carotids, and arterial & venous peripheral ultrasounds, DVT.

  • Record and analyze test results for physician review and interpretation.

  • Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

  • Usage of GE equipment and PACS system.

**Qualifications:**

  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS).

  • Proficiency in conducting vascular ultrasound examinations.

  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation.

  • Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.

**Skills:**

  • Proficient in assessing vital signs during procedures.

  • Ability to perform vascular sonography accurately and efficiently.

  • Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and diagnostic evaluations.

  • Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to vascular health.
