Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Baltimore, MD, for an Assistant Manager at Limoncello Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar. The Assistant Manager will oversee daily operations, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure smooth restaurant functionality. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing inventory, supporting training and development, scheduling, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with other management staff to enhance the guest experience and encourage a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Operations skills, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate staff members effectively.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills to address challenges and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or similar supervisory roles is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines is a plus but not required.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or relevant experience in the restaurant industry is a valuable asset.
