Dallas, Texas, United States Airtron Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Description:

About Airtron

Airtron is one of the nation's leading HVAC and home services companies, serving both residential new construction and consumer replacement markets across multiple regions. Our mission is to deliver comfort, efficiency, and reliability to every home we serve — powered by a culture of performance, innovation, and partnership.

As the business continues to scale through M&As and organically, we are strengthening our FP&A organization to provide sharper insights, tighter financial discipline, and more agile decision support across our divisions and functional teams.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to play a pivotal role in driving Airtron's financial performance, supporting divisional execution, and advancing our analytical capabilities. This role partners closely with Division Finance and Operations leaders to translate performance data into actionable business strategies — enhancing visibility, accountability, and profitability across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of financial rigor, operational curiosity, and business acumen — someone who can connect numbers to strategy and influence decisions at every level of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Lead the development of the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range outlook, ensuring divisional and corporate alignment.

  • Support the VP, FP&A and Division Presidents in framing performance narratives and outlooks for executive leadership and board-level discussions.

  • Drive scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to inform strategic decisions on pricing, market share, and capital allocation.

Performance Management & Insights

  • Own monthly and quarterly business reviews, consolidating results and distilling drivers of volume, mix, and margin performance across divisions.

  • Partner with divisional finance leads to improve visibility into overhead, labor efficiency, and pricing levers that impact profitability.

  • Provide insightful analysis of gross margin trends, project economics, and SG&A cost dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Business Partnership & Decision Support

  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support initiatives such as pricing optimization, capacity planning, and inventory management.

  • Deliver robust financial modeling and ROI analysis for key projects — from builder programs and retail partnerships to marketing pilots and new market entries.

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to divisional leaders — helping connect operational actions to P&L outcomes.

Process & Systems Enhancement

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts across FP&A processes — budget templates, reporting cadences, and forecast methodologies.

  • Partner with Data & Systems teams to strengthen BI dashboards, automate reporting, and drive more proactive analytics across the business.

  • Ensure consistency in financial definitions, reporting, and performance metrics across divisions.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor analysts and divisional FP&A teams, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Contribute to building a best-in-class FP&A organization that operates as a strategic partner to the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA (Finance Concentration) preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or operations finance roles preferably in PE backed Portfolio companies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to distill complex data into clear business insights.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting multi-division or field-based businesses, ideally within construction, HVAC, or service-oriented industries.

  • Required Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; Powerpoint skills,  experience with Power BI, Workday Adaptive Planning or comparable EPM tools.

  • Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

Who You Are

  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action — able to balance detail orientation with big-picture perspective.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  • Collaborative, hands-on leader who builds trust and drives alignment across finance and operations.

  • Passionate about helping teams make better, faster, more informed decisions through data and insight.

Why Airtron

At Airtron, you'll be part of a company that's reshaping how the HVAC and home services industry approaches growth, efficiency, and customer value. You'll have exposure to divisional leaders, work closely with the VP, FP&A and CFO, and play a direct role in strengthening our financial foundation for the next chapter of growth.

Airtron is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
