Junior Manager-Federal Contract Support

DJS is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Manager to provide comprehensive contract management and operational oversight in support of a nationwide federal program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Provide daily oversight and management of contract operations, ensuring compliance with all performance objectives and deliverables.
- Supervise teams performing data processing, data analysis, data entry, bookkeeping, and accounting operations.
- Monitor performance metrics, quality assurance processes, and workflow efficiency to meet contractual standards.
- Coordinate with government stakeholders, team members, and senior leadership to ensure smooth program execution.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required.
- Support security and compliance procedures, including familiarity with government systems such as eQIP and Public Trust onboarding.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory management experience in data processing, data analysis, data entry, or bookkeeping and accounting operations.
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities in a federal contracting environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with federal security clearance processes, including eQIP and Public Trust investigations.
- Ability to work in the office Monday through Friday.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting federal government contracts.
- Working knowledge of contract compliance and performance reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Location: Arlington, VA (On-site, Monday through Friday)
