As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Full-Time Government in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment within a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, uphold a visible presence, and engage with visitors and staff to provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within government locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious situations that may pose risks to people, property, or information.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and access control in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or patrols as required by Allied Universal policies and the site's procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
• Possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a corrections officer license.
• Hold a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
