Job Description:

As the Civil Engineer, the candidate will participate in a wide variety of projects involving planning, design, and analysis work in a variety of disciplines, such as site civil, transportation, water resources, stormwater management, and green infrastructure. The candidate will be involved in projects from conceptual design to construction closeout, gaining exposure to all aspects of the project life cycle. The candidate will play a key role in the development of design drawings, assisting in the production of full design packages and coordinating material with other disciplines and stakeholders. The candidate will also assist in the development of design reports, analysis, and submission to various agencies.

The candidate will also have the opportunity to perform fieldwork monitoring the installation of elements related to project drawings previously developed by the company.

Responsibilities:

· Work under supervision to develop Engineering Drawings including grading and site development plans, utility piping layouts and profiles, and construction details

· Ability to learn new aspects of engineering in order to perform design work

· Create drawings to company standards based on preliminary concepts

· Technical and design report writing

· Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues

Job Requirements:

· Understanding of hydrology & hydraulics

· Advanced expertise in MS Excel

· Must have at least 1 year of AutoCAD experience

· Bachelor of Science in Engineering

· Must be reliable and punctual

· Must be able to multitask and produce accurate work

· EIT/FE desired

Job Type: Full Time

Compensation: Starting $75,000-$85,000, can vary based upon experience and skill
