Lowcountry Children's Therapy is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists. Our practice is a well-established pediatric therapy clinic founded in 2015 and located in beautiful Savannah, Georgia. We provide opportunities for therapists to treat patients in a variety of settings if desired, including clinic and community settings. We are seeking a self-motivated therapist who is passionate about working with children and their families and caregivers, works well in a team-oriented multidiscipline environment, and who demonstrates a warm and caring attitude. Candidates with experience treating early intervention patients are highly encouraged to apply for this position. New graduates are also encouraged to apply as we do offer a Mentorship Program for our therapists. Our patients include children with a wide variety of diagnoses including premature birth, genetic disorders, brain injury, neuromuscular disorders, movement and coordination disorders, ASD, as well as various orthopedic issues. Patients are typically seen for 1 hour however treatment time is ultimately based off of the therapists recommendations for their patients. Qualifications:

· Valid Georgia license

·1 or more years of experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required

· Knowledge of pediatric theory and evidence based practice

· Must work well in a multidisciplinary environment

· Must possess ability to effectively communicate with patient's family, caregivers, and physicians.

Responsibilities include:

· Evaluating patients using pediatric standardized assessment tools including the PDMS, BOT, TGMD, and GMFM

· Treating patients ages 0-16 years with a variety of diagnoses and developing appropriate treatment plans to promote maximized independence

· Providing play-based therapy interventions for our early intervention patients to help them achieve functional goals.

· Complete documentation, meeting company standards for content, accuracy, and timeliness

· Proactive communication with families on home exercise programs to maximize child's progress towards goals
