Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities within the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Focuses on the physical cleaning and minor maintenance of the hotel.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Remove bed linens, towels, and trash.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms and common areas.
  • Report and perform any minor maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Assist with floor care tasks including mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is a plus.
