Position Mission

The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope. The Project Manager will ensure full and accurate visibility of project statuses is provided to client and vendor stakeholders. The Project Manager is responsible for effectively prioritizing and managing project resources across multiple projects regarding project priority and established project schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    Assign project tasks based on assigned project resources strengths, skill sets and experience levels.

Requirements

  • Healthcare experience preferred; long-term healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing projects involving Microsoft technologies (e.g., M365, Azure AD, Intune) and confidently guiding clients through related workflows is a plus.
  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

This job requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought-out results. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary. The job centers around developing new ideas, systems, and technology, and analyzing and improving on old ones. A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to spot and correct errors is important. Work must be done right and quickly, while always focusing on accomplishing the goal and demanding the highest quality work from co-workers and subordinates. Interest and energy focus primarily on the work at hand, with negligible inclination for small talk or social involvement. The broad scope of the job demands a factual, direct, and authoritative style of communication. Decision-making, though swift, is very calculated and singular, with little reliance on consensus or collaborating opinions.
