Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail sales and a strong understanding of grocery store operations.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
  • Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending complementary items.
  • Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer interaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
