We are seeking a Software License Manager with strong expertise in Altair reporting software and advanced proficiency in Atlassian tools. The ideal candidate will manage enterprise software licenses, ensure compliance, optimize usage, and provide actionable reporting insights. This role requires hands‑on administration of Atlassian products and the ability to deliver clear, data‑driven reports using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer Altair reporting software licenses, ensuring compliance and cost optimization.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to track license utilization, compliance metrics, and usage trends.
  • Serve as the Atlassian tools expert, administering Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Crowd.
  • Collaborate with IT/security teams to enforce license policies and governance standards.
  • Monitor license usage, forecast renewals, and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Provide documentation, reporting, and audit support for software license compliance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align license management with project and operational needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • US Citizenship (mandatory).
  • Proven experience as a Software License Manager or in Software Asset Management (SAM).
  • Hands‑on expertise with Altair reporting software.
  • Strong proficiency with Power BI or similar reporting/visualization tools.
  • Deep knowledge and administration experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd).
  • Familiarity with IT compliance, governance, and audit processes.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT/security environments with license compliance responsibilities.
  • Exposure to cloud‑based license management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
