About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
IT Operations Project Manager
to lead and deliver key technology initiatives across our enterprise. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of IT projects that impact enterprise applications, infrastructure, and security operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, streamline operations, and ensure that all technology solutions align with business goals.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a measurable impact on IT governance, operations, and service delivery within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT Operations & Services projects across Enterprise Applications, Information Security, Endpoint Engineering, and Network/Systems Operations.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including documentation of standard operating procedures and development of cross-department processes.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to create and execute project plans with defined milestones, resource needs, and timelines.
- Oversee IT Operations Change Management processes, ensuring proper governance and compliance.
- Provide transparent communication on project status, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders and leadership.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and facilitate contractor onboarding for project initiatives.
- Support annual technology planning and contribute to roadmap development based on IT priorities.
- Manage the transition of projects from implementation to operational support.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate project success and operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships across IT and business teams to support collaboration and alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in Project Management within mid-to-large environments.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, application development, and operational support.
- Proven experience with Project, Change, and Release Management methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Azure.
- Knowledge of network systems, enterprise applications, and information security best practices.
- Ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based, standard business hours.
- Regular use of computer, keyboard, and mouse.
- Minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
