Job Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships and help all those you touch along life's journey.
  • Create a nurturing and positive learning environment encouraging children and staff to grow and develop.
  • Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and implement the Lightbridge Academy program and Seedlings curriculum.
  • Create a "learning is fun' environment by developing and implementing lesson plans following Lightbridge Academy curriculum.
  • Maintain a well-kept classroom that helps ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children.
  • Observe all Lightbridge Academy policies and procedures and state licensing regulations.
  • Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
  • Complete a minimum of 20 hours of ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in education or related field is preferred, Associates Degree in education or related field will be considered
  • Childcare or preschool experience
  • Strong time management, leadership and organizational skills
  • Flexible and able to multi-task
  • Prior management experience (a plus)
  • Completion of CPR and First Aid certification
