Role Overview

We are seeking a
Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant
to lead all phases of Adaptive Planning implementation projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong consultative approach, deep expertise in Adaptive Planning, and the ability to deliver effective, scalable planning solutions aligned with client objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle Adaptive Planning implementations—from requirements gathering and design through to delivery and support.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their current planning processes and translate legacy models into Adaptive Planning.
  • Recommend optimal solutions based on client needs, scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Facilitate design sessions and guide configuration decisions grounded in best practices.
  • Build and configure forecasting, budgeting, and reporting models within Adaptive Planning.
  • Conduct user training sessions and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain project documentation, including planning models, reporting frameworks, and configuration details.
  • Manage expectations through clear and consistent communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client success criteria.
  • Provide ongoing client support and serve as a trusted advisor for Adaptive Planning best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share insights, lessons learned, and solution innovations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering
    Workday Adaptive Planning
    implementations or equivalent planning and budgeting tools.
  • Strong financial modeling and business process understanding.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior consulting experience preferred.
