Practice Overview
Primary Location
: St. Joseph's Medical Center – Stockton, CA
Practice Environment
- 355-bed regional medical center (CommonSpirit Hospital System)
- The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 12 physicians, over 30 independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 resident physicians providing services for up to 16 anesthetizing locations daily.
- The annual anesthesia case volume is approx. 14,300 cases, consisting of ~ 9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab/Cath Lab, and interventional radiology.
OB services with 3,000 births annually
Multi-provider anesthesia team with an average of births per month, averaging 4 epidurals and 3 c-sections per day
- 2 Obstetric operating rooms and 8 labor rooms in a recently renovated pavilion
Qualifications
Experience at an independent practice site, 2+ years
Prior OB experience
Proficiency with spinals and epidurals
- Active state RN and CRNA licenses
- Board certification required
- ACLS | PALS | BLS
