We're looking for a motivated
IT Product and Financial Analyst
to join on a
6+ month contract
basis. This is a
hybrid position (3 days onsite per week)
offering the opportunity to combine your financial expertise with exposure to technology and IT product analysis.


About the Role

In this role, you'll provide financial insights that help optimize resource allocation and improve program effectiveness. You'll work closely with IT, procurement, and compliance teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses for various technology initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for IT/security products and services
  • Build and maintain budgeting models to support funding requests and cost management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals
  • Track and report on budget performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Support vendor and procurement discussions from a financial perspective
  • Conduct cost-benefit and life-cycle analyses for new technology initiatives
  • Prepare clear, concise financial reports for leadership


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Finance or Accounting
    (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in
    budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and communication
    skills
  • Familiarity with
    Microsoft Excel/Office
    and financial management tools
  • Basic understanding of
    technology or IT products
    (training can be provided)
  • Prior experience with
    government or public sector budgeting
    is a plus
