The Senior BeyondTrust Engineer will provide advanced technical expertise and leadership for the operation, sustainment, and optimization of the BeyondTrust privileged access management (PAM) environment – both on-prem and in the cloud. This role focuses on direct cyber and system administration activities related to BeyondTrust, supporting the team and ensuring robust, secure, and compliant PAM operations. ????

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead advanced administration, monitoring, and maintenance of the BeyondTrust PAM platform, including complex configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee technical cyber activities such as account provisioning, access reviews, credential management, log analysis, and incident response within BeyondTrust.
  • Guide and mentor junior administrators, providing technical direction and best practices for PAM operations.
  • Drive the discovery and current-state assessment of the BeyondTrust environment, and lead the implementation of get-well plan actions.
  • Manage integration and deployment of BeyondTrust with enterprise systems, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Ensure strict compliance with DoD security policies, STIGs, SRGs, and other applicable standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, change records, and standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for audits, security assessments, and privileged access-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues and promote continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, reporting, and knowledge base development.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6 years of experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Extensive experience administering and supporting BeyondTrust or similar PAM solutions.
  • Advanced technical skills in system administration, troubleshooting, and cyber operations.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor technical staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD security policies, STIGs, and RMF processes.
  • Experience supporting deployments in enterprise and cloud environments (OCI experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • DoD 8140 approved certificate for privileged access required (e.g., SecurityX)

Desired/Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred but not required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., BeyondTrust Certified Administrator) at the advanced level strongly preferred.

Compensation

  • $150,000 - $168,000
