Our Customer's Mission
The Security Operations Center (SOC) is responsible for the overall security of enterprise-wide information systems and networks. The SOC's objectives are to protect, detect, respond, and recover from information security (IS) threats to the enterprise and associated systems. The SOC is chartered to prevent, detect, contain, and eradicate cyber threats through monitoring, intrusion detection, and protective security services to information systems. The SOC also conducts vulnerability assessments, analyzes cyber threats, monitors the email gateway, and collects information on and investigates and reports on all confirmed or suspected security incidents.

Duties
As Project Manager, you will collaborate with the Program Manager to develop comprehensive plans, coordinate resources, conduct interviews, and handle administrative duties. This role organizes and directs project planning, oversight, and implementation within a Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC), working alongside the CSOC Manager and Cybersecurity Engineers. You may lead individuals or teams to execute project tasks, ensuring deliverables meet objectives and goals while adhering to schedules and budgets. The position requires interaction with Senior Managers, Customers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. Additionally, in this position you will:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Program Manager(s).
- Serve as a liaison between team members, the CSOC Manager, Cybersecurity Engineers, the Program Manager, and Customer project managers.
- Responsible for the creation and tracking of project deliverables, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Responsible for the development of requirements for their project(s), and adherence to those requirements throughout project execution and delivery.
- Responsible for the creation of, and adherence to, project budget and schedules.
- Responsible for identification, documentation, management, and escalation of all project risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Assist with the creation and tracking of program deliverables, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
Qualifications
- As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.
- Must hold an active DOD Secret Clearance. ( This is a federal contract position and requires candidates to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of Security Clearance or Public Trust. Adjudication of the required Security Clearance or Public Trust is determined solely by the government. If the government determines that the candidate cannot obtain and/or maintain the appropriate level of Security Clearance or Public Trust, Epsilon will be unable to place the candidate in this position.)
- Associate's degree and one (1) year of experience in a project coordinator/ management role or project Team Lead, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with technical project coordination in an Information Technology or Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with Engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and SOC Team members.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience with project management toolsets (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
