Our client is building power plants for gaming. They are doing this by redefining how people engage with renewable energy through the power of play. Their mission is to connect the worlds of gaming and sustainability, creating rewarding digital experiences that allow players to make real-world impact.
They are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to take technical ownership of their web-based service. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind their web ecosystem — designing, building, and scaling the systems that connect gaming partners, marketing platforms, and clean-energy initiatives. As the technical lead for the web product, the engineer will make key architectural decisions, manage integrations with external partners, and guide the evolution of the technology stack. They will collaborate closely with product, design, console developers, game designers, and sustainability partners to ensure the platform delivers a seamless, high-performing, and secure experience for users worldwide.
Responsibilities- Lead ownership of web product, architecture, codebase, scalability, and performance;
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end systems: from responsive front-end interfaces to robust back-end services;
- Develop and manage partner integrations (rewards systems, gaming APIs, renewable energy data sources, and marketing tools);
- Drive product innovation, contributing to the roadmap and shaping the technical strategy behind our growth;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with console developers and product leads to ensure backend systems fully enable seamless experiences;
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, security, and uptime of production environments;
- Define technical standards, development workflows, and documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability;
- Evaluate and manage external vendors, libraries, and technologies to support our evolving ecosystem.
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience in high-growth tech or gaming (web) sectors;
- Proficiency in modern web technologies, such as: React, , or similar frameworks., , Express, or NestJS., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent., Azure, Playfab;
- Strong understanding of scalable systems architecture, authentication/authorization, and secure coding best practices;
- Proven track record in managing deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
- Experience with third-party integrations (payment systems, partner APIs, analytics, rewards systems, etc.);
- Experience with Storyblock, Stripe;
- Rapid prototyping with tools like Loveable, Replit;
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable leading discussions with partners and internal teams;
- A product-oriented mindset, you think beyond code and focus on delivering impact;
- Passion for gaming, sustainability, and building technology that drives positive change;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
- Experience in game tech ecosystems, consoles, or digital reward systems;
- Familiarity with blockchain-based rewards, carbon tracking, or renewable energy APIs;
- Startup or early-stage product experience;
- Interest in or experience leading small web teams.
- 10 working days of annual paid vacation;
