As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help design, build, and deliver products that our customers and associates love. You'll work closely with other engineers, product partners, and stakeholders to develop secure, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.

In this role, you'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle — from architecture and development to testing, deployment, and support. You'll also mentor junior engineers, influence technical direction, and champion best practices that drive continuous improvement and team success.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Execution (50%)

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software with a focus on delivering customer and business value.
  • Build resilient, performant systems and develop test suites to ensure reliability and rapid code deployment.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively identify scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Consistently deliver results in fast-paced and complex environments.

Learning & Growth (10%)

  • Continuously expand technical and leadership skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and collaboration.
  • Promote a growth mindset by sharing lessons learned and encouraging experimentation within the team.

Planning & Alignment (20%)

  • Partner with product teams to translate business needs into clear, developer-ready user stories.
  • Ensure technical solutions align with product goals, timelines, and organizational priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences and contribute to agile ceremonies and quarterly planning.

Support & Enablement (20%)

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team productivity, tools, and engineering processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven ability to contribute to or lead diverse, multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Proficiency in front-end (Angular or React) and back-end (Java and/or GoLang preferred) development
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, cloud computing, and CI/CD tools
  • Experience designing systems for high availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization frameworks
  • Skilled in unit, functional, and performance testing
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Exposure to technical roadmap planning and modernizing legacy systems

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
