We are seeking a Healthcare analyst to support the financial performance and operational insight of multiple medical practices and surgical centers within our client portfolio. This unique role blends hands-on data analytics, dashboard development, and client-facing advisory work.

As the analyst becomes more familiar with clients and industry dynamics, they will increasingly contribute to observational assessments, surface performance opportunities, and help shape data-driven recommendations for practice leaders.

Analytics are the backbone to strategy. We plan for this role to continue to grow as we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow trends) and identify variances or issues.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly financial reports for clients.
  • Analyze revenue, expenses, provider productivity, payer mix, and operational drivers.
  • Conduct workflow and performance observations as client familiarity grows.
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and pro forma development.
  • Build and maintain client-facing dashboards using Power Apps (or Power BI) to track KPIs, trends, revenue-cycle measures, and practice performance.
  • Present insights in visuals that help physicians and administrators quickly understand what matters most.
  • Participate in client meetings to review financial results, dashboards, and strategic recommendations.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, approachable manner.
  • Build strong working relationships with physicians, administrators, and internal teams.
  • Serve as a trusted financial support resource for multiple practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or healthcare operations preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Power Query, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with clients.

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, supporting physician practices, medical groups, or consulting clients.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop or Online).
  • Experience in Power Apps or Power BI.
