Join Our Dynamic TeamWe are seeking a talented Quantitative Analyst to transform how our company analyzes residential mortgage lending data. Your role will involve enhancing our marketing strategies, pricing analytics, profit and loss analysis, and insights into market trends while modernizing our analytics toolkit. You will leverage our investor-grade analytics platform to develop models and tools that enhance lending uses, integrate performance insights, and drive initiatives for our capital markets and investors.Your Responsibilities:Data Ownership: Organize, clean, and harmonize loan origination, servicing, marketing, and customer datasets to derive actionable insights and performance metrics.Model Adaptation: Create wrappers and interfaces to implement existing pricing, prepayment, and credit-risk models within our lending platform.Performance Integration: Loop lending performance and P&L results back into the analytics ecosystem for comprehensive investor reporting.Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor essential lending metrics, including recapture rates, marketing ROI, pricing variance, and market trends.Performance Analysis: Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, gathering feedback to refine analytics and strategies.Collaboration: Work with pricing, portfolio, investor relations, and capital markets teams to translate analytics into actionable lending strategies and execute investor-driven initiatives.Tool Modernization: Automate data pipelines, standardize definitions, and deploy scalable analytics tools across divisions.Cross-Functional Liaison: Collaborate with IT, CRM, operations, and external vendors to ensure data quality and timely insights delivery.Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to requests from management, investors, and other teams in a timely manner.Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.What You Need:Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance).A minimum of one year of experience in mortgage lending analytics, capital markets analytics, or a related field; strong analysts with programming skills are also encouraged to apply.Proficient in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis; knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus.Experience in adapting and implementing proprietary quantitative models, including writing APIs for analytics pipelines.Ability to work with unstructured marketing data, data cleaning, ETL processes, and signal extraction.Experience in creating self-service dashboards or reports with tools like Tableau.Good understanding of loan origination and servicing workflows.Strong communication skills to convey complex analytics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Highly organized and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and statistical skills.Hands-on experience processing and analyzing large datasets in Python.Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their underlying algorithms.Proficient with SQL for data extraction and analysis.Knowledge of Linux environments is preferred.Team-oriented and quick to learn with effective communication skills.Ability to manage time well and work on multiple tasks within tight deadlines.Preference for candidates willing to work near our office in Greenwich, CT.About Us:Carrington Capital Management, LLC (CCM) is an alternative asset management firm specializing in control-based investing in U.S. real estate, mortgage, and fixed income markets.
