Job Title: UI Developer

Job Type: FTE

Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented UI Developer to design, develop, and maintain the user interface of our web applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, a keen eye for design, and excellent problem-solving skills. The UI Developer will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that our applications are visually appealing, user-friendly, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:

2. Design and develop high-quality, responsive, and interactive user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.

3. Create prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs to visualize and communicate design concepts.

4. Collaborate with designers to ensure that the UI is consistent with the overall design vision.

5. Front-end Development:

6. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

7. Develop and maintain reusable UI components and libraries.

8. Ensure that the UI is compatible with different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

9. Problem-Solving and Debugging:

10. Identify and troubleshoot UI-related issues using debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools.

11. Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve defects.

12. Optimize the UI for performance, accessibility, and usability.

13. Collaboration and Communication:

14. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and engineering teams.

15. Communicate design and development plans, progress, and issues to stakeholders.

16. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

17. Staying Up-to-Date:

18. Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in UI development.

19. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

1. Technical Skills:

2. 3+ years of experience in UI development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, ).

3. Strong understanding of front-end development principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.

4. Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.

5. Soft Skills:

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

9. Education:

10. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with:

2. Modern front-end build tools such as Webpack, Rollup, or Gulp.

3. State management libraries such as Redux or MobX.

4. CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.

5. Certifications:

6. Certification in UI development, front-end development, or a related field.

7. Personal Projects:

8. A portfolio of personal projects that demonstrate UI development skills and creativity.
