CNA – Recreational Therapy - Child Center at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a full-time day shift position. Schedule is 8-hour shift from Sunday through Thursday.

  • Paid Time Off – Benefit eligible caregivers receive up to 25 days per year 
  • Retirement - The Providence retirement program consists of employer match and discretionary contributions that work together with your pre-tax (and/orRoth aftertax) contributions to help you save for retirement. 
  • Lyra Caregiver Assistance program- Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year 

Performs basic activity and life enrichment functions and other duties under the direction and supervision of the recreational activity manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License 
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 
  • 1 year of experience with children, health care setting preferred. Recreational setting accepted.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience as a CNA 2.
