CNA - LVAD Cardiac Transplant

The CNA 2/HUC is a key person within the decentralized nursing unit, who provides overall administrative and technical support in the operation of the unit; collaborates with other staff and leaders in the development, oversight, and operation of the unit; and performs CNA II patient care duties.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Health Unit Coordinator or secretarial coursework along with a medical terminology course or experience. or equivalent educ/experience
- Health Unit Coordinator: 1 year experience performing secretarial duties in a health care environment.
- Coursework/Training: Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course. or equivalent educ/experience
- CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
- Experience with a variety of software applications.
- Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Acute care hospital experience, ideally performing CNA and/or Health Unit Coordinator duties.
- 1 year Experience as a CNA 2.
