As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a leading food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control procedures at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors as required by site-specific protocols.
• Provide customer service and support by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner according to established policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas of the location and perimeter, as assigned, to observe and report any unusual activity.
• Document observations and incidents according to company and site-specific guidelines.
• Follow site-specific policies and participate in emergency response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
