As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for residents and guests. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving position, so you will be responsible for vehicle patrol duties as part of your role. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unauthorized persons, or unusual activity, in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence within the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide peace of mind to residents and visitors.
• Document and communicate security-related incidents and activities using Allied Universal reporting procedures.
• Interact with residents, guests, and property management staff to provide assistance and address inquiries or concerns in a courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
