Real Estate Acquisitions Director
with proven experience in sourcing deals and raising equity. The ideal candidate will lead our acquisitions efforts, identify lucrative investment opportunities, and spearhead the equity-raising process to fund our projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and acquisition of real estate investment opportunities across target markets.
- Develop and execute strategies for raising equity capital from institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, and other sources to finance acquisition projects.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of investment opportunities through market research, broker relationships, and industry networking.
- Oversee underwriting processes, including financial modeling, due diligence, and risk assessment, to evaluate deal feasibility.
- Prepare and present investment packages and recommendations to internal committees and external partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, private equity firms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals to raise equity for real estate deals.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, investment memorandums, and financial summaries to secure investor commitments.
- Negotiate and structure equity investment agreements in alignment with company objectives and investor expectations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, economic conditions, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
- Provide strategic input on investment strategies and target markets to align acquisitions with company goals.
- Partner with the asset management and accounting teams to transition acquisitions into the portfolio and ensure seamless execution of business plans.
- Coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams to structure transactions and ensure compliance with all requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, with a proven track record of sourcing and closing deals.
- Demonstrated success in raising equity for real estate transactions, including strong investor relationships.
Skills And Abilities
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, deal structuring, and investment underwriting.
- Familiarity with real estate software such as Argus, CoStar, and Yardi.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
