Join our team as a Sales Project Manager specializing in HVAC—where technical expertise meets customer-driven results. Lead complex projects from bid to completion while building lasting partnerships across commercial and industrial markets.

The Sales Project Manager oversees customer projects from initial quote through completion, driving sales growth and ensuring seamless execution. Responsibilities include analyzing customer needs, preparing competitive quotes, managing submittals, order processing, and procurement as needed. This role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including air handling units, chillers, ductwork, and controls. This role also collaborates with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and product selection while maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee quotation project lifecycles, ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion while meeting deadlines and project goals.
  • Develop and present accurate, competitive quotations and project proposals for commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC applications in partnership with the sales team.

  • Cultivate and strengthen long-term partnerships with key customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support business growth.
  • Partner with the sales team to deliver technical expertise and recommend tailored HVAC solutions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, including material availability, design adjustments, and delivery timelines.
  • Deliver in-depth technical support and product recommendations for HVAC systems based on customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal purchasing teams and vendor partners to secure competitive pricing and stay informed on the latest offerings and industry trends.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing project timelines, deliverables, and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, pricing agreements, and product details in the company's system.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customers' need to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Travel 10% of the time.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and design principals.
  • 3+ years of experience in quotations, estimating, technical sales or inside sales.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to analyze costs, compare pricing and identify profitable solutions.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, and CRM software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detailed orientated with a proven ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
