Therapeutic Endeavors is seeking a compassionate and motivated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing team. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will help implement teletherapy sessions designed to improve communication, fluency, articulation, and language skills for children and/or adults in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to clients as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Follow individualized treatment plans and therapy protocols to support communication goals.
  • Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on client progress and session performance.
  • Assist with preparing digital therapy materials, interactive activities, and online resources.
  • Provide feedback to the supervising SLP regarding client progress, challenges, and engagement.
  • Support clients in developing functional communication skills through interactive, online platforms.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and other confidentiality standards for virtual services.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, educators, and team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or a related field.
  • Current Florida SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Previous experience providing virtual or in-person therapy to children, adolescents, or adults (preferred).
  • Strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, TheraPlatform, or equivalent).
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with the supervising SLP.
  • Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting communication development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
