As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Front Desk Specialist in Newton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting employees. You will monitor access control systems, support security-related procedures, and help to deter incidents through your presence and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to entry, exit, and visitor management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities at the front desk as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
