Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the efficient movement of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, proper inventory management, and seamless logistics operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse distribution processes, support e-commerce order processing, and uphold high standards of safety and accuracy. Duties

• Receive incoming shipments by inspecting deliveries for accuracy and damage, verifying against purchase orders or packing lists using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting appropriate products through order picking and order fulfillment procedures, utilizing reach trucks, pallet jacks, and MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems).
• Pack items securely using proper packaging techniques to ensure safe transit, including labeling and documentation compliance.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently with equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock levels in Sage 100 system, performing stock counts, and assisting with cycle counts.
• Organize warehouse space by stocking shelves systematically, managing storage locations, and ensuring easy access for picking & packing activities.
• Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating with the team on order picking & packing tasks for timely shipment dispatch.
• Use RF scanners and other technology tools to streamline order processing, improve accuracy, and enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized workspace that promotes safety and operational excellence at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow processes related to shipping & receiving activities.

Qualifications perfered, but not required. We provide extensive training.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment with exposure to shipping & receiving processes, but not required.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely; we will train.
• Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
• Experience with order fulfillment procedures including picking & packing for e-commerce or retail distribution channels.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols related to load & unload operations using various equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking and inventory management tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.33 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
