Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where preschoolers can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff through effective communication.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas including literacy, math, and social skills.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and classroom management strategies.
  • Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and any incidents that may occur.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Experience

  • Degree +in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of literacy education, math concepts for preschoolers, and physical education activities is beneficial.
